Welcome to Powers K-9

My name is David Powers, the owner of Powers K-9 Dog Training.

I offer private lessons at your house, and around your busy schedule. In a single lesson, I’ll teach you and your dog/s how to walk, sit, stay by you, not jump on you or your friends, plus not bark, bite, or chew.

My fee is normally $140 to $150 dollars, for one dog for the lesson. Two dogs my cost is $250 dollars, UNLESS you live out of my area.

I do give Multiple dogs discounts. All you need is one visit, plus if I can not train your dog/s THE LESSON IS FREE. All training is completed without using TREATS, just verbal and physical praise.

The lesson lasts between 75-90 minutes. If you called any other business, or Box Store Dog Trainer you could pay upwards of 500 dollars for the same thing that I offer you and with them, there is NO GUARANTEE!

My background comes from our military. I spent over 20 years training/handling Military Working Dogs, all over the world while being a member of U.S. Air Force.

I formerly worked with explosive dogs as a Private Contractor for Homeland Security in New Orleans, LA and Mobile, AL, from 2003 to 2012.

I do travel to areas from New Orleans, Louisiana in the West to Mobile, Alabama in the East, and Hattiesburg, Mississippi in the North of Gulfport, Mississippi.
